We personally think the Colonial Zone is an ideal home-base because there are so many sights, shops, restaurants and nightclubs within walking distance, and if you want to go shopping in the more metro areas like Naco and Piantini, you can always take a taxi.

Esedeku Apartments
Managed by the amiable Spanish proprietor Paco, Esedeku House offers European designed vacation apartments in the best area of the Colonial Zone. Situated just two blocks to the Cathedral and one block to the pedestrian boulevard El Conde, the location can not be beat. Typically, rentals are from one week to several months and the apartments offered are either smaller one bedrooms or studios. They all have air conditioning and a kitchen area. Prices start at approximately $50/night or $300/week.

Castilla Colonial
Castilla Colonial is a wonderful luxury residential project that is nearing completion in one of the best areas of the Colonial Zone. Most apartments are owner-occupied or long term leases. However, a few apartments are available as vacation rentals for shorter stays – from three nights to one month. Per night rates are approximately $100 to $150 and monthly rates from $1650 to $2500 and up. These apartments are furnished and have television/internet. The residential complex has a pool and an outdoor lounge area.

Narai Apartments
Featuring an almost Zen-like tranquility in the midst of the bustling Colonial Zone, Narai offers a limited number of luxury apartment vacation rentals for stays of month and longer. Narai has beautifully landscaped grounds and a rooftop pool with views of the Caribbean. The apartments have one or two bedrooms and a terrace. Rates start at approximately $1400/month.
